Dafraclav tablets 1000 mg

Active substance: amoxicillin – clavulanic acid

Form: film-coated tablet

Dosage per tablet: 875 mg amoxicillin + 125 mg clavulanic acid

Packaging:

– Ticasse 1000 mg: Box of 14 film-coated tablets

– Dafraclav 1000 mg: Box of 10 film-coated tablets

Ticasse / Dafraclav 1000mg is a bactericidal antibiotic

– Amoxicillin rapidly kills susceptible bacteria

– Clavulanic acid prevents the inactivation of amoxicillin by enzymes produced by bacteria.

Ticasse/Dafraclav is indicated for the treatment of the following infections

• Infections of the upper respiratory tract
  • Otitis media / sinusitis / tonsillitis / pharyngitis / laryngitis
• Infections of the lower respiratory tract
  • Chronic bronchitis (superinfection), community acquired pneumonia
• Skin and soft tissue infections
  • Cellulitis, animal bites
  • Dental abscesses
  • Abscesses, boils, wounds, acnes superinfections
• Urinary tract infections
  • Cystitis, pyelonephritis
• Bone and joint infections

The usual dose: 1 tablet of Ticasse/Dafraclav 1000 mg every 12 hours.

Ticasse/Dafraclav 1000 mg has been specially developed to allow a dosage of 2 doses per day (every 12 hours).

For some more severe infections the dosage can be increased to 3 doses per day (every 8 hours).
